Nestled on the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, Carreglwyd is a cherished, family-run estate, a truly special place to celebrate your wedding day. Surrounded by tranquil lakes, sweeping lawns and centuries-old trees, the estate offers an unforgettable setting in the heart of nature.

Outside, the courtyard is a suntrap and a lovely spot to relax during the day or evening. For your ceremony, our Boathouse and floating pontoon over the lake offer a truly stunning setting. The front lawn, overlooking the lake and Carreglwyd House, is perfect for post-ceremony drinks and canapés.

All our weddings are offered on a dry-hire basis, giving couples complete freedom to design their day exactly as they wish. We can provide a list of trusted suppliers, or you’re welcome to bring in your own.

Included in the venue hire is full access to all the spaces mentioned, as well as use of the Honeymoon Suite apartment attached to the Stables.

What we loved about Carreglwyd was the fact that there is no set wedding, so no wedding is the same. When we had an idea, they helped us bring them to life. This allowed us to let our imaginations run wild and plan a totally unique wedding. The team were great and were always on hand to answer questions and help us plan the day. We were able to set up glamping pods on the grounds and other guests could bring their own camper vans and tents. We can't believe how lucky we were to find Carreglwyd and we'll remember our magical day for years to come’
