Beachcomber’s is set in an enviable location with the tranquil beach as its garden! This hideaway started out life as a “bathing hut” for the occupants of the local Carreglwyd Estate over 100 years ago. Perched on the edge of the shore of the spectacular and undiscovered sandy Borthwen Beach, with the coastal path on the doorstep, this hidden hideaway is the perfect place to relax and explore the extended magnificent coastline with its many hidden coves.
Dog Friendly
Yes – up to 3 dependent on size (£20 per dog per stay). Please note the garden is not enclosed and the sea is on your doorstep.
Parking
Off road parking for 3 cars.
Suitability
All apart from the small loft area is on one level once the initial slope or step up to the decking from the car parking area is overcome. There is a slope down from the garden onto the beach.
Bedrooms
Bedroom 1: double bed with en-suite shower room. Bedroom 2: two single beds (please note the room is compact). Extra beds: Two single mattresses in the small open crog loft area (access via a narrow ladder – suitable for adult/responsible child). These need to be requested on booking with at least 10 days notice before arrival and there is an additional charge of £20 per bed for bedding.
Bathrooms
1 en-suite shower room with shower, hand basin, towel rail and WC. 1 family bathroom with bath and hand-held shower over, basin, WC and heated towel rail. The washing machine is situated in the family bathroom & there is an airer.
Outdoors
Amazing sea views with decked area and large grassed area. Patio table and chairs, bbq (charcoal) and access to the beach. Washing line for laundry. Please note there isn’t a gate and the fencing is decorative only.
Children
A highchair and travel cot (no bedding) are available upon request. Please note the garden leads directly onto the beach so children must be supervised at all times.
